Mental Health Awareness Week is a national campaign in May 2026 led by the Mental Health Foundation, encouraging everyone to take simple steps to support their wellbeing. This year’s theme focuses on movement for mental health, reminding us that even small bursts of activity can boost mood, reduce stress, and improve overall health.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or low, you’re not alone. Our team is here to listen and help. You can speak to a GP or one of our mental health practitioners for guidance and support, including access to NHS talking therapies and local wellbeing services.
Taking a moment to check in with yourself- or someone you care about- can make a real difference
Bring the garden to Life This Spring
A new bed sleeper was installed in the surgery garden, and now we’re getting ready to plant our spring bulbs.
We’d love a few volunteers to help with some light gardening- planting, tidying, and giving the space a fresh lift for patients and staff.
If you can spare a little time, please contact us and we will pass your details onto Julie who is running the project
Protecting Children through Vaccination
Strong immunity. Safer communities. A healthier start in life.
Childhood vaccines are one of the most effective ways to protect children from serious illnesses such as measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough and meningitis. These diseases can cause severe complications, but vaccines offer safe, reliable protection.
Why Vaccines Matter
- Build strong immunity early
- Prevent outbreaks in schools and communities
- Protect vulnerable people through herd immunity
- Reduce hospital admissions and long-term complications
We’re Here to Help
If your child is due a vaccine or you’re unsure what they need:
- Check their Red Book
- Speak to a practice nurse or GP
- Contact reception to book an appointment
Vaccinating on time is one of the simplest ways to give children a healthy start.
