Letters for Face Covering Exemptions

With face coverings now mandatory in many public places, there is no requirement to provide a letter for an individual to prove that they have a valid case for exemption if you cannot wear a face covering, therefore GPs will not be providing verification of exemptions.

Some people may feel more comfortable showing something that says they do not have to wear a face covering. This is a personal choice, and is not necessary in law, verbal communication of this is good enough.
