For the safety of our staff and patients we have initiated a few changes on the day to day running of the surgery.
- Lunchtime closure
The surgery will be closed between 13:00 – 14:00 every day.This time allows staff to meet and discuss any changes/updates received regarding the pandemic.
- Prescription requests
Please do not bring repeat prescription requests to the surgery.Please request your repeat by either:

- Telephone Prescription Ordering Direct Service 01732 375262
- Email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
- During this time we will accept requests over the telephone and have a designated line. This is open 10:00 – 12:30 and 14:30 - 16:30
When attending the surgery to collect your prescription please wait outside. A member of staff will come out and speak to you. We will not keep you waiting.
If you are in the clinically high risk category (received a letter stating so) or shielding for 12 weeks and do not have anyone who can collect your medication we are offering a delivery service to dispensing patients. Please contact the surgery if you wish to take up this service.
- Appointments - attending
Please where possible attend for your appointment on your own and drive to the surgery if you can. On arrival wait in your car and the clinician you are booked to see will come out to the car park and escort you into the surgery. Some procedures such as INR testing can be done from your car.
- Appointments – booking
During this pandemic all appointments requests for a GP will be triaged by telephone. If you need to see a GP please telephone the surgery. The receptionist will take your details and add your name to the triage list. You will then be telephoned by a GP who will decide whether you need to be bought into the surgery or if you can be helped over the telephone. In some cases GPs are also holding video consultations.
