Please read the following guidance to help protect you and our practice staff from the current coronavirus risk.
Attending for an appointment
When attending the surgery please wear a face mask or covering. When you arrive for your appointment please telephone the surgery and inform the receptionist you have arrived. If you have driven to the surgery please wait in your car or if you have walked please wait outside. The clinician you have an appointment with will then come outside and escort you into the surgery.
Please do not attend if you have any of the following symptoms: a new continuous cough, a high temperature, a loss or change in sense of smell or taste.
Unless you need to be accompanied by someone please attend on your own.
Requesting a repeat prescription
We are encouraging all our patients to sign up to electronic ordering of their prescriptions to reduce the foot fall at the surgery. The quickest and easiest way is to sign up to the NHS App: https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/the-nhs-app/
You can verify your identity through the app within minutes and have access to your medical records allowing you to request your medication any day at any time. Alternatively email gp.G82200@nhs.net or telephone the Prescription Ordering Direct Service 01732 375 262.
If you do need to request medication using the printout from your last prescription please use the letterbox. Do not come into the surgery.
All repeat prescriptions will be sent to your nominated pharmacy. If you usually attend the surgery to collect your prescriptions you will be asked to nominate a pharmacy for your prescription to be sent electronically. You will not be able to collect your prescription from the surgery.
The Practice is taking these steps to keep you and our staff safe. Thank you for your patience and understand at this challenging time.
